Weekends Coming.. What should I do?

Author: APeace Ahmad // Category:
Assalamualaikum & peace upon you..

After considering a lot of things, I decided to write every story that I'll gonna post in my blog using English language. I'm really sorry if my English didn't good & have a lot of errors in it. I'll do my best on the future to improve my English & my photography skills. For me, life is full of learning, from mistakes that we do, from observations etc. Let's go back to the story.

Every times when the new weeks begin, I keep thinking,'what will I do this weekend?'. If I got job to do (such as shooting a wedding's ceremony..), this thought will never bothering me. I often calls my friends since some of them already buying DSLR camera. I thought, they have some passion in photography, just like me. Unfortunately, I'm totally wrong about that. They're buying it just for a style, just a trendy. This makes me think, 'why they torturing themselves just for a style, just for a trend?'. DSLR's price are much higher than the price of digital compact camera. There's no need to spend a lot of your money just for something that makes you look good on the outside but at the same time, it brings suffer inside you. So I decide, if I got job to do, I will not call them. I will find someone who have desire to improve in photography, just like me. They're already suffer enough, so I don't want to wasting their time to follow me to shoot something that not glamorous.

Day after day pass through me. I still got no idea what to do on the weekend. But when Saturday come, I got some inspirations. It begins when my little cousin comes to my house. My mom told me, today (16th October) is Laili's 7th birthday. Funny things about Laili (my little cousin), she doesn't know her own birthday. But since her mother busy, her parents decide to post pone the party. I feel sorry for her.
Laili
Then I decide, I will make some photo shoot for her. This is not like any shoots that I did for my friends before. I gather some data about her, so I can make a plan what I want to do and how I presenting a story about Laili using a photos that I will take.
Laili in front of her school..
It's clearly I do everything in rush. I forgot to measure about other elements, especially about lighting. After photo shooting with Laili, I go home and turn on my PC's to see the results. I'm not satisfied with everything I took on that evening.
I make analysis every pictures that I took. Then, I decide to make a photo shoot again with Laili tomorrow.

Laili with her friends & her sister, Ain..
Before I sleep, I log in to my blog to see my blog's statistic. I surprised that peoples from other countries visiting my blog. It makes me think for a moment. To be honest, I never imagine that somebody from outside of my country willing to spent their times to see my blog. Even my friends around here didn't take a look to my blog although I already told them about it. To show my gratitudes to these special peoples, I make decisions that I'll post every story I wrote in English language after this.

Our first subject, Joad's car...
I wake up on Sunday morning  with the new idea, including to write down the text that I will use during my photo shoot in English. When I ready to meet Laili, I got text message from Ali Karimi Dahlan. For me, he isn't only my friend, he also the first person who teach me about everything I know in photography. I told Laili that I will make photo shoot next time because I need to see Ali in Membakut town. After everyone come, we start to shoot but this time, Ali didn't brings any models/talents to shot. He told us, he want us to shoot a picture of a car, just like a car. We all really confused about that. Then he explained to us about the detail we should know in this process. After understand about what he want us to do, we begin our photo shooting.
Try to take from low angle..
Joad try to shot the car, Ali handling the strobe..
Ali try to tell Joad & Rahim how to make a good picture of a car..

My turn to shot Rahim's car...
Ali make some changing on lighting positions..
I really enjoy during that evening & I learned a new things during we shooting pictures of Rahim & Joad's car.

That's the story I got during last weekend. I am really sorry to everyone who fells offended with everything I wrote this time. It's not my intentioned to hurt anyone's felling. I just want to shared with everyone about my story and my opinions about photography. I hope, everybody got a nice weekend...

Well, this week my cousin got married. I hope I can take some good pictures to share here..

Assalamualaikum & peace upon you.. :)
